Our Services

SPORTS PHYSICAL THERAPY
When working with athletes of all ages and levels, we effectively apply our knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practice and applied functional science to rehab the sports injury; and in the rehab process, we strive to prevent the occurrence of future injuries. We do not practice cookie cutter physical therapy. We incorporate sport-specific movements into your therapeutic exercise to best prepare the neuromuscular system for return to sport.

MANUAL THERAPY
Manual therapy techniques are skilled hand movements and skilled passive movements of joints and soft tissue and are intended to improve tissue extensibility; increase range of motion; induce relaxation; mobilize or manipulate soft tissue and joints; modulate pain; and reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation, or restriction. Techniques may include manual lymphatic drainage, manual traction, massage, mobilization/manipulation, and passive range of motion.

ATHLETIC RECOVERY & REGENERATION
Recovery is a crucial part in the overall performance and well-being of an athlete. Proper recovery is essential to optimal athletic performance. The goal of our recovery services is to help our athletes to relax and recover from post workout or post-game soreness and muscle fatigue. CED sports offers exercise recovery services, which are designed to expedite healing from the trauma your body incurs as a direct result of intense training. Using tools like Normatec Recovery Compression therapy, Dry needling, IASTM soft tissue tools, cupping, and more. We can decrease your recovery time and optimize your future performance.

We develop personalized programs for each client to help them accomplish their goals in the short term and sustain their goals in the long term. Ultimately, we want to help our clients develop safer and more effective movement patterns, as well as form new, healthier lifestyle habits to serve their overall health and well-being.

DRY NEEDLING
Physical therapists use dry needling to release or inactivate trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of motion. Preliminary research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, and normalizes dysfunctions of the motor end plates, the sites at which nerve impulses are transmitted to muscles. This can help speed up the patient’s return to active rehabilitation. Trigger-point dry needling is an invasive procedure where a fine needle or acupuncture needle is inserted into the skin and muscle.

CUPPING
Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

CONCIERGE SERVICES
Our physical therapists provide on location support for our clients. That includes the gym, training facility or private residence. Our therapists have treated individuals in the privacy of their home, as well as teams of athletes on location. These services can include ongoing treatment of a specific injury.
